Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto emphasized that the assistance demonstrates the government's commitment to communities impacted by the calamity, noting it is anticipated to "help meet urgent needs, expedite the disaster response process, and provide strength to all parties working to recover from the disaster."
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto declared Tuesday that the administration's immediate focus centers on fulfilling residents' requirements, accelerating socio-economic restoration, and rehabilitating infrastructure damaged by the disaster.
